Murder by Definition

Megan McDonald is in graduate school when Velma Adkins, her feisty grandmother, breaks her hip. Velma is transferred to Springville Manor Retirement Home for rehabilitation, and Megan decides to volunteer at the manor to keep an eye on her. Soon she discovers her grandmother is living in the crosshairs of a serial killer.

Megan meets nurse Dan Albright, and sparks fly. He offers to team up with Megan and Velma to find the culprit behind the resident killings. Tension mounts as more unexplained deaths occur, drugs go missing, and the manor's administrator becomes the latest victim. It appears Dan has a checkered past, which suddenly makes him a suspect.

Megan wonders if she has fallen in love with a thief and if Dan is somehow involved in the murders. Is she going to find answers before her grandmother becomes Springville’s next victim?
